Arena Theatre

This is a cultural gem. Built in the early 1960’s the theatre has been refurbished to have a seating capacity of 2,800 people but the most distant row of seats is still only 6o feet from the stage. The circular stage can rotate a full 360 degrees. Fifteen aisles give the seating chart a wagon wheel appearance but allow performers to keep the audience involved in the show by venturing up the 'spokes’. The theatre hosts a variety of performances, including Broadway musicals, stand-up comedians, as well as pop, country , soul, R&B and jazz musicians.
