Barcelona’s opulent opera house El Liceu is a city institution. As well as operatic productions, you can also find excellent concerts, recitals, dance performances and, occasionally, film showings here. The theatre burned down a decade ago, but the rebuilt version is as beautiful and acoustically fine-tuned as ever.
