Don’t let the fact that the Oceanaire is part of a small chain scare you away. Chef Kevin Davis, a New Orleans native, knows his fish, period. The crispy river smelt are fried to a golden brown and one of the best appetisers in town. The creole seafood and andouille gumbo is down home divine and the Dungeness crab cakes offer decadent mouthfuls of the crustacean in every bite.
