Uni
Not content simply to enumerate accolades for his New French-inspired Clio restaurant, Chef Ken Oringer recently opened the tiny Uni sashimi bar in the lounge of the famed boite as his experimental lab. The results have been as positive as they are pricey. Don’t expect to make a meal of rolls at this chic, 22-seat lounge, which emphasises exotic sashimi and raw dishes such as octopus ceviche, and toro tartare, and don’t expect to fill-up. But if melt-in-your mouth seafood and sexy drinks with [name]s such as Enter the Dragon are the order of the night, you may want to slither up to the bar with the rest of the cognoscenti.
