Kingston Hotel Bed & Breakfast
|
|
Vancouver’s first and finest European-style bed and breakfast hotel – in the heart of downtown – was built in 1910 by the O’Hagen family and is still owned and operated by the same family. It’s close to art galleries, the library, two sports stadiums, and well-known areas such as trendy Robson Street, Theatre Row, funky Yaletown and historic Gastown. Rooms are spartan but spotless, and renovations are currently underway (expected to be completed by Summer 2004), including the installation of an elevator. In due course, the one-time bar next door (owned by the same family) will re-open, likely under the new [name] 'The Richard’s Street Pub and Restaurant’. |
