Seoul’s first international boutique hotel, the W, opened on the bucolic grounds of the Sheraton Walker Hill in August 2004. Guests can choose between ‘wonderful’ rooms (high-tech, dual-colour decor), spa rooms (with special bathing facilities built in), scent rooms (yes, the scents of your choice are piped in) and media rooms (complete with home-theatre systems). The hotel also has a Turkish-style spa and a DJ in the bar. Studio conference rooms are available for medium-sized meetings and events. |
