Further down Weena street, the Hilton may have updated its amenities but its lobby and overall décor is in serious need of some attention. It has an extensive souvenir shop but strangely no restaurant. It’s worth paying a few extra Euros for a room on the ‘executive fl oor’, as it has exclusive access to a clubroom with an open bar, afternoon teas, snacks and an executive concierge in the form of a clubroom hostess. The lack of catering is made up for with good logistics, as the hotel has a direct link to Schiphol Airport every 30 minutes, and a taxi service to Rotterdam Airport every 15 minutes. |
