Hotel Borg

The prestigious Hotel Borg has been an Icelandic landmark since the 1930s. The original owner Jóhannes Josepsson was considered a visionary in his business—he put forward the notion that top-notch accommodation and fi ne dining could and should be found in Iceland. The hotel houses meeting rooms, a bar and a four-star restaurant. The rooms are all decorated in wonderful art deco style, and each is different, with individual details such as paintings and photographs hung on the walls, and antique wooden beds. It is conveniently located in the centre of Reykjavík just a few steps away from Laugavegur shopping street. |
