The combination of location (a block away from Stortorget) and the fact that the owners have cultivated a relaxed, low-key atmosphere, make this one of the most charming hotels in town. Of course, the flowering roof gardens surrounding the rooms add to it all. Even if the hotel prides itself on being personal, ‘the Garden’ has quite a few rooms and well organised conference facilities. The restaurant does a decent breakfast and dinner, while the old-English-style bar (closed on Saturdays and Sundays) offers pub grub, small dishes and a wide selection of beers. |
