For sun, sea and sand, the Sealine Beach Resort is a perfect getaway. The hotel is quite a distance from the airport as it’s 60kms to the south of Doha. Apart from the main hotel—where rooms can be rented for weekends or longer—there are areas of beach villas and chalets suitable for singles, couples and families. A oneday visit costs £5 for adults, £2.50 for children. Outdoor facilities at the Sealine are excellent and the resort has developed into a relaxing four-star venue with its own landscape gardens and pools. It also serves as a jumping-off point for fourwheel- drive desert safaris. |
