The Sheraton caused something of a stir when it suddenly appeared at the foot of the Royal Castle in the spring of 2004. Not everybody was happy about the proximity of this modern, fi ve-star hotel to the spiritual home of the nation. However, the views of the river are certainly spectacular for guests, and business travellers would be hard-pushed to fi nd a more well-equipped option in terms of international standards of excellence, right across the board. The large indoor pool is perfect for unwinding, and the hotel also boasts great conference facilities – the biggest of eight meeting rooms seats 310. |
