After a thorough modernisation, the communal areas of the Hotel Central have a scrubbed and professional feel, and rooms are comfortable and decorated in a simple, reassuringly conservative style. Bathrooms are modern with nice touches, such as heated towel rails. Most rooms have internet connections, and as the hotel has a meeting room with audiovisual equipment seating 65, it’s a good choice for smaller conferences. The Central is right next to the imposing Tomislav Square park, directly opposite the railway station, within easy walking distance of the main square, yet doesn’t suffer from noise—and it has a few free parking spaces! All business districts can be easily reached by tram. |
