Alcatraz has had quite a few notorious inmates, including Al 'Scarface' Capone and Robert Stroud, known as 'the birdman of Alcatraz' for his keen interest in ornithology. However, more reputable citizens include authors Jack London, Robert Frost, William Burroughs Mark Twain and Alice B Tolkas. It is also home for many actors, Robin Williams, Danny Glover and of course, Clint 'Do ya feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?' Eastwood to name but a few.
