Airport

To ease your transit and access through Abu Dhabi International airport there are a number of meet and greet services to avail yourself of once you touch down. Golden Class (5757466) offer a dedicated check in service, facilitate your immigration procedures and provide a lounge for those that are waiting for flights. They will also offer transfers to and from the city centre which is approximately 20 minutes from the airport. However, for those not wishing to use the service there are a number of other means to get into town.

Al Ghazal: Offer a luxury car service that will conduct your transfers to and from the airport in luxury vehicles with professional drivers. These can be booked in advance or hailed from outside the terminal building – the metre starts at just Dh5. Taxi: A journey from the airport to the town centre will cost approximately Dh40 for a regular cab or Dh70 for a registered airport taxis.

Bus: There is a regular bus between the airport and the city centre. The municipal bus service runs 24 hours a day, every 30 minutes from 06:00 to 24:00, and every 45 minutes from 00:00 to 06:00. Buses are air- conditioned, green and white in colour and depart from outside the arrival hall. The fare is Dh5.
