The area around Piazza di Spagna is packed with boutiques of well known and less famous designers. This part of town is great for a nice promenade along with some good splurging! D&G and Missoni are both on the Piazza di Spagna. Designer divas should head to the Via Condotti, where Gucci, Bulgari, Prada, Valentino, Vuitton, Ferragamo and Armani all vie for big spenders’ attention.
If you want to check out new and upcoming names in Italian fashion, wander to the Monti area, just behind the Via dei Fori Imperiali. Peek into Le Gallinelle (Via del Boschetto 66) for vintage and pop by Fabio Piccioni (Via del Boschetto 148) for costume jewellery from the ’20s and ’30s.
Via dei Coronari is the best street for antiques, and during November this street hosts a wonderful antiques fair. For reasonably priced prints, try the stalls on the Piazza Fontanella Borghese
