Where do you live and why?
I live in Prague’s District
1. I love the centre of the city.
What advice would you give a tourist? Any must-dos?
Don’t just stay in Prague. There are very nice towns nearby like Cesky Kurmlov, Marianske Lazne...
What advice would you give a visiting businessperson?
That depends on their interests. Businessmen usually want to have a couple of drinks after a busy day, so they should watch out for these innocent-looking girls and keep an eye on their wallet. Females are more difficult. It depends on their interests—say, the National Theatre or the Black Theatre. Going out for a drink alone can be very uncomfortable for a woman as many men will think she wants to be picked up—unless, of course, she does.
One thing everyone will definitely enjoy, however, is a boat ride at night.
Where have you had the most memorable meals? My favourite restaurant would be Taverna Olympos [Kubelikova 9, Tel: 222 722 239]—great food, excellent service and a beautiful garden with a playground and painted walls. In the winter it is used as a patio. Another favourite is Mozaika. For the price, you get excellent food. I’ve never been disappointed there.
Where would you take a client to wow them?
Old Town Square to U Maleho Prince—the outside terrace has an amazing view.
What do you miss about Prague when you’re away?
Everything!
