Great White Sharks don't come anywhere near Sydney Harbour or the city's beaches. But the Bronze Whalers and Bull Sharks which are known to visit the region can be quite aggressive. Don't worry though; most of Sydney's beaches have shark nets and the last fatal shark attack in Sydney Harbour was in 1963.
