Getting Into Town


Airport The Kuala Lumpur International Airport (website: www.klia.com.my) is 70kms south of the city and is one of Asia’s most modern airports. The country’s national carrier is Malaysia Airlines (Tel: 7846 3000, website: www. malaysiaairlines.com.my), providing both international and domestic flights. In March 2005, Malaysia Airlines started rolling out impressive new Business and First classes on its long-haul fleet.

Train The fastest way to get into town is to hop on the high-speed airport express train. The [00a3]5 trip takes 28 minutes. Airport limousine Buy a coupon for [00a3]13 for destinations in the city. It’s pricey if you’re taking the trip alone.

Bus Express coaches depart from the airport’s basement every half hour from
6.15am to 12.30am and make stops at major hotels along the way.
