This modern waterside hotel at the southern end of Lake Union, a short hop from downtown Seattle, offers studios as well as one and two-bedroom apartments complete with kitchens and a food- shopping service. The complimentary breakfast is served around a seven-story garden atrium replete with waterfall and tropical plants; a weekly reception hosted by nearby restaurants is also held here. The accommodations live up to Marriott’s functional, neat standard. Although it’s a bit off the beaten track, this property makes sense for longer stays and there are several good restaurants on Lake Union across the street. Meeting rooms for 100, pool with whirlpool, sauna and solarium, downtown shuttle.
