The food stays true to its Mexican roots, with Chef Jose Garces creating entrées such as Veracruz-style red snapper and an-seared French-cut chicken breast. This bright little café may be off the beaten path from Centre City, but you won’t be disappointed. The staff is pleasant and the menu offers authentic Mexican favourites such as quesadillas, enchiladas stuffed with chicken or vegetables and chicken mole (a house speciality) at bargain prices. The desserts are traditional, but the flan is especially tasty.
