An old fashioned two-tiered theatre, now with the balcony a separate enclosed screening room, the Plaza still offers the best popcorn in town alongside indie/ art films and the occasional blockbuster. For the freaks and geeks, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is featured every Friday at midnight; costumes are optional but encouraged.

 

Located on the obscured tail end of the suburban Parkside Shopping Centre, Madstone Theatres is an arthouse multiplex. Eight theatres screen obscure, foreign and indie features. Along with popcorn and candy, wine, beer and gourmet sandwiches are available for purchase and welcome in the theatres.

 

Taking over the land of a former drive-in, Regal Hollywood 24 is located off a semi- secluded service road yet with its towering façade of flash and sizzle maintains an air of Big Event. The movies are big budget Hollywood, as the [name] suggests, but the presentation is as well – stadium seating and digital surround sound for all 24 screens.
