Don’t be put off by the fact that the Ramada looks like a huge, golden brick. It sits in the heart of the city with no tall structures around it to obsure the view. One of Doha’s oldest five-star hotels, the Ramada is surrounded by a host of eateries near a busy four-way road junction. There’s a conference room, which can house 560 people, a theatre which accommodates 600, a ballroom for 560 and a banquet hall for about 450. Only 20 minutes from the airport, the Ramada is a convenient choice. On the 9th floor is The Library, one of three cocktail bars, which has fabulous views of the entire city.
