Damascus / Nightlife / Bar / Club

An upper-class clientele, up-to-the-minute hits, superior acoustics and watch out for the Dali-esque decor and the glass floor with goldfish swimming underneath.

A 400-year-old Damascene house has been transformed into a hip restaurant and drinking hide-out with some fine restoration work.

The girls come on around 9.30pm every evening. There is selection of drinks and fruits to keep the punters fuelled while Eastern European and Russian dancers do their striptease. £10 will get you a bottle of champagne bottle and a girl at your table.

A popular hide-out for wealthy and wellconnected Damascenes. Entry charge is £5 with two drinks. Slightly dark and dingy and popular with expats, but the music is loud and brazen.
