Damascus / Accommodation / Contemporary

Rising high above the main road artery leading from the city centre to the western suburbs, the much-awaited Four Seasons Hotel took Damascus into a new era of 21st century hotels, following its opening in October 2005. Largely funded by the billions of Saudi Crown Prince Walid Bin Talal, the 24-storey marble clad hotel has nearly 300 chic, modern rooms, a super-modern business centre and in the luscious grounds to its north, 12 serviced apartments, shops and even a mosque.
