Beirut / Accommodation / Contemporary

The Bayview is a small hotel ideally situated right on Beirut’s famous Corniche and hugely popular. Close to downtown, the sea and offering an intimacy many of Beirut’s hotels do not it suffers only from a lack of a pool and a gym. Still it has a trendy rooftop bar and restaurant that often gets packed especially on weekends.

Overlooking the magnificent Beirut Marina, the Hotel Monroe is located in downtown Beirut in the heart of the business district. Close to the shopping centers, night clubs and restaurants. The Monroe Hotel is contemporary and pop art in feel [name]d as it is after the blonde\r\[name]rican actress, and though completely ripped apart by the Feb 14 bomb blast it has been completely rebuilt and refurbished to the highest of standards. A good inexpensive and modern place to stay. Close to BIEL.

Located in the heart of Beirut, facing the sea, the Palm Beach Hotel enjoys an exceptional view overlooking the Mediterranean and the entire Lebanese coast, the pool is on the roof too which makes good use of this. Next to the Phoenicia and the Vendome, the Palm Beach is younger in its clientele and popular with the fashionable set. Incidentally, its rooftop Sky Bar is one of the hardest to get into bars in all Beirut. Close to BIEL.

The Riviera provides its guests with a wonderful view of the sea located right on the sea front and provides exquisite service and comfort. It’s stylish and includes a pool on the sea, a marina and diving club, and a fantastic fish restaurant. More for relaxing than business and conferences, it’s still one of the most popular spots to stay in the city and is close to the American University of Beirut.

A well equipped, simple but modern hotel with lots and lots of style, the Sofitel Le Gabriel is located in Achrafieh and very English in the décor of its rooms. With a small indoor pool and gym, the place still works well for those on business wanting class, comfort and ease of movement in the city without being slap bang in the middle of things.
