Amman / Nightlife / Bar

Although unrelated to its Parisian namesake, it isn’t difficult to see where the inspiration for one of Amman’s latest hotspots comes from. The classic Buddah Bar beats and the exotic cocktails combine nicely in this warm south East Asian atmosphere.

One of Amman’s happening bars with sports events from around the world relayed through the big screen TVs on most evenings, while karaoke and other theme nights round out the week.

A pleasant little bar and restaurant, Salute really picks up in the summer months when its outdoor beer garden [open]s up. It is a true testament to its popularity that it is the only nightspot in Amman’s notoriously fickle scene that is still running after 10 years in the business.

With a seating capacity of only 20, the Square Bar is one of Amman’s more intimate hangouts, but it is by far its most luxurious, located in the Four Seasons Hotel. It is also one of the capital’s more expensive watering holes.
