Set on the third floor of the resplendent Zara complex, Century is one of Amman’s few cinemas where you’ll find showing the latest Hollywood blockbusters and, occasionally, some of the smaller independent American and European productions.

 

Darat Al Funun is one of the most influential art galleries in Amman, constantly exhibiting a mixture of young and old Jordanian and Arab artists, and providing a unique insight into the state of Arab art today.

 

Galleria Cinemas are two classy little theatres with amazing sound systems playing the latest in Western cinema. They are conveniently located in the heart of posh Abdoun with several cafés, bars and restaurants in close proximity, very convenient if you want something to eat after the show.

 

The museum paints a historical picture of Jordan through the classic cars that were used by the late King Hussein, each vehicle carrying with it a piece of the country’s history. Cars on show include some of the finest ever built, and the collection features vehicles from over 60 [year]s ago.

 

Paintball offers both fun and excitement, and there are few exercises that are as good at promoting teamwork as a simulated war situation, at least for the martially inclined. Others just like the opportunity to get really messy.
