Warsaw / Dining / Indian

Not the Tandoor Palace, and this place doesn’t always receive favourable reviews, but there’s a good range of vegetarian dishes and the candle-lit dining area makes for an atmospheric evening. It has the advantage of a good location, right near the central business district in an area that is fast becoming one of Warsaw’s trendier hang-outs. Last orders 11pm.

This is the place where the British expats go. Arguably the best curry house in town and quite possibly the whole country, you’ll find all the classics here and service that has won international recognition. Poles are still in two minds about Indian food, with many of them finding it too spicy for their palettes. But it’s slowly growing in popularity and the owner of the Palace, Mr Charanjit Walia, knows how to impress. Last orders 10.30pm.
