A bar/nightclub and great Moroccaninspired restaurant, but that’s not why it’s in this section. It’s a must-visit for the fabulous hamam (Turkish bath) it becomes by day. Relax here in superb style and feel all your business stresses drain away. Great massage, wonderful atmosphere and friendly but unobtrusive staff. Closed on Sundays and Mondays. Make a reservation to be totally pampered. Bliss.

English-language cinema showing new releases and classic films, with regular screenings of The Third Man.

The hottest new place to strut your stuff in Vienna. A funky, flirty Cuban dance club close to Kärntner Strasse. Wear anything you can dance in and expect the temperature to rise as the dancefloor fills up. The perfect place to let off steam after a long meeting. Wallflowers and nondancers won’t feel at home here. [open] every day from 7pm. Note: although the website has an English version, it’s not a great translation.

This well-established jazz club is [open] at 7pm every day except Sundays, with live music every night at 9pm. Check the website—it’s in German only—to see the gig calendar.

One of Vienna’s premier concert halls. Make sure you visit, if only to see the impressive and huge statue of Beethoven. Check out the website before your trip to see the calendar of events. Advance booking usually recommended.
