A four-star hotel with rooms dedicated to 33 Austrian wine growers, it demonstrates wonderful use of space with clean lines and loads of light. A fully equipped business centre and conference facilities are available. Faxes can be sent from reception and rooms have internet access. There’s a wine shop and wine bar. Staying here is a true Viennese experience.

Somewhat impersonal, but still excellent, very efficient and a popular choice with business travellers and celebrities. Very central, the hotel is superbly placed on the edge of Stadtpark, great for an early morning jog or evening stroll along the Danube. Fully accessible for disabled travellers. High-speed internet access in all rooms. The hotel can arrange secretarial assistance and other business services on request.

An excellent hotel with genuinely friendly and helpful staff, room service until 10pm and easy access to the many restaurants and bars of the 7th District. It’s close to the business areas, the U-Bahn and within walking distance of the 1st District. Good restaurant and bar. Non-smoking rooms are available on request. Thoroughly

You’ll need an expense account to stay here, but it’ll be worth every penny. A fairly new luxury hotel that has become the last word in style. Excellent conference facilities (available for hire) and all business amenities catered for on request. Your leisure time is equally well catered for at the spa. There are three rooms specially adapted for disabled guests. One note of caution: if you are allergic to animals, let them know at the time of booking, as pets are permitted to stay in some of the rooms. Make sure you try the Shambala restaurant and bar, pioneered by Michelin starred chef Michel Rostang, and sample some of the exotic dishes on the menu. The cocktails are also excellent.
