Bringing Black Balzams to the masses and making it hip to drink has been B-Bars biggest success. This bar would not be out of place in London, with its cool brown interior and interesting design, it has a great atmosphere on any day of the week.

It may be slightly overpriced but it is home to the best selection of single-malt whiskies in Riga. A favourite haunt of pre-performance theatregoers, which adds to the happy atmosphere, in this cosy bar.

Your drink will be mighty expensive and you may have to kill to get a seat but it’ll be worth it. The view from this bar is incredible, looking out over the whole of Riga you will soon forget how much your drink cost and that your feet hurt from standing for so long.

Don’t let the number of suits in this bar fool you, it becomes a club and cocktail lounge three nights a week where the city slickers cut some moves. It may seem a little pretentious but the kitsch ‘70s style interior doesn’t let it take itself to seriously.
