Den Norske Opera is a hugely popular opera company that performs regularly at the Folketeaterpassasjen. The programme ranges from contemporary work to Mozart, Strauss and Verdi.

Mariss Janson’s Oslo Philharmonic orchestra performs regularly at the Konserthus and includes the work of many Norwegian and Scandinavian composers in its repertoire. Look out also for the free [open]-air summer concerts at Vigeland.
