Established in 1975 in the picturesque but chic Lapa district, Sr. Vinho is one of Lisbon’s most acclaimed Fado houses. Star singer here is Maria da Fé, who also owns the place together with her husband José Luís Gordo. If you don’t want to have dinner, there is a minimum charge of €22.50. And remember: there’s no talking allowed while the artists are singing.
