Watch out for events in the Coliseu dos Recreios theatre, for they are often international concerts, musicals or operas, for which no understanding of Portuguese is required. In January 2006, for example, the original-language version of Miss Saigon will be staged.

Concerts and all kinds of other shows and events are often staged at the multipurpose Atlantico Pavilion in Parque das Nações. In February 2006 rock band Depeche Mode will be playing, and in March Disney on Ice will be staged.
