Conceived by Milanese architects Piero Lissoni and Nicoletta Canesi, and a member of the Design Hotels Group, the Bentley has established itself as the city’s first designer boutique hotel. Opened in 2003, it has a sophisticated, minimalist feel. The lobby bar is a popular local nightspot, with a resident DJ on the decks most evenings. Standard rooms are smart and comfortable, while the penthouse suites boast luxuries like an espresso machine, plasma TV and private rooftop terrace. All rooms have free internet access. While conveniently situated for the city’s main business areas the Bentley is some distance from the sights of Sultanahmet.
