The place where the over-thirties come to let their hair down to a great selection of truly danceable music. Members of the MàD cultural co-operative can also take part in regular dance classes.

Geneva’s largest multiplex has 13 screens to choose from, but look for the VO (version originale) which indicates that the film will be shown in its original language, otherwise it will be dubbed into French. Located inside a large shopping mall, there are also plenty of restaurants and bars for before and after the film.

A testament to urban renewal, the BFM (pictured) is a former hydroelectric plant converted into a contemporary theatre, art and performance space. Located on an island in the middle of the Rhône, it’s well worth checking out.
