Dublin / Accommodation / Good Value

Its reasonable room rates and close proximity to the Central Bank Building make this three-star hotel a firm favou-rite with the number crunching brigade. The only thing that stops Blooms being the perfect budget option is a basement nightclub, which stays open late at the weekends and makes some of the rooms too noisy to sleep in.

The latest addition to Jurys’ chain of Dublin hotels is also its best appointed with O’Connell Street, Grafton Street and the rapidly expanding Irish Financial Services Centre all within easy reach. The flat-fee room rate for up to three adults may be one of the best deals in town, but there’s nothing cut-price about the amenities and service which rightly warrant the hotel’s three stars.
