Brand-new nightspot Emma is C[open]hagen’s first attempt at a smokeless club. The club itself is situated in a converted loft apartment on Lille Kongensgade, across the street from the Magasin department store, so it has the intimate feel of a good friend’s flat. If you just can’t resist the urge to light up, step out onto the covered balcony.

This Nørrebro bar and disco lounge is C[open]hagen’s best attempt at a Big Apple metro nightclub, and the cocktail menu is priced to match. The crowd is impossibly hip and slightly aloof and the bartenders know their way around a mojito.

Stereo Bar first reaches its pitch after 1am. Even on a quiet evening, however, there’s plenty to appreciate in the Verner Panton-style interior and diverse music profile, with everything from drum’n’bass to 90s Indie classics.

This music and lounge multiplex continues to dominate Vesterbro’s bustling nightlife. The club’s two stages, Store Vega (Big Vega) and Lille Vega (Little Vega), attract a rotating bill of contemporary and alternative music acts, while the Vega Lounge and Ideal Bar provide laid back lounge grooves.
