Cardiff / Nightlife

With its smart leather sofas and wooden interior, Floyd’s is one of the swankiest bars in Cardiff and attracts trendy media types. Live music is played on Sunday evenings.

Newly renovated, Copas is a great place to start your evening with a good bottle of wine. Never too packed or too empty, and with fl oor to ceiling glass windows and minimalist decor, it has a sophisticated atmosphere.

[open], light and spacious, Ha Ha is popular with the suited professionals as an after-work drinking spot. Comfy sofas and clean décor with pale wood tables give it its stylish appeal.

A great place to share a bottle of wine or sip a cocktail, Henry’s is a friendly place. Happy hour on cocktails runs 5.30pm–7.30pm, Monday to Friday, and the selection of meals are not exactly gourmet, but good value.

A stylish and contemporary bar next to Cardiff’s Civic Centre, ‘Incogs’ is ideal for business lunches and after-work drinks. It can get a bit overrun with the neighbouring student population later in the evenings, but overall there is a nice ambience.
