Cardiff / Accommodation / Classic

Another of Cardiff’s fi ne Victorian buildings, this recently restored hotel dates back to 1883 and has a prime location alongside Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium and overlooking Cardiff Castle. With its marble foyer and elegant staircase with Waterford chandelier, the Angel has lodged some famous guests, including the entire South African Rugby Team. Staff are happy to help with some business services and there are nine meetings rooms that can hold up to 300 people.

Cardiff’s top five-star hotel and a striking landmark on the waterfront, St David’s offers exceptional service and facilities. The hotel boasts the best spa in the city, complete with two hydro pools with underwater massage jets, and it’s one of five hotels in the world to offer exclusive E’SPA mind and body treatments. All rooms have balconies with unparalleled Bay views. There is a fully staffed business centre and staff will do anything to make sure you have everything you need. All this, and there’s also a Marco Pierre White run restaurant ‘Tides’. No doubt, this hotel is in a league of its own.

This stylish Victorian building is situated close to the main shopping precinct, Queens Street. Established in 1833, its mix of Victorian and contemporary décor and spacious rooms are just part of the attraction for its loyal guests. The service is friendly and the rooms are individually decorated and furnished. There are also a wide range of dining facilities (bars, lounges and a brasserie) and 10 meeting rooms—the largest is able to accommodate 300, theatre style.
