Budapest / Accommodation / Good Value

The Holiday Inn is situated in a large commercial and industrial area 10kms from the city centre, home to the world’s largest Tesco store and Budaors Airfield. The hotel offers a regular shuttle bus to the city centre and has parking for over 200 vehicles. There are six function rooms with the largest room catering for up to 250 delegates.

This three-star hotel is situated next to Budapest’s largest sports, events and exhibitions complex—comprising of the Puskas Ferenc Stadium, the Budapest Arena and the Budapest Fair Centre—and specialises in accommodating athletes, sports fans and conference delegates. Although some distance from the city centre, it’s well served by public transport, with the number 2 metro transferring guests to the downtown area in about 10 minutes. Hotel facilities include a modern fitness complex and three conference rooms, which can cater for groups of between 15 and 280 people, all pretty good given the value of this hotel.

With rooms starting from only €65 (HUF 16,100), you can’t beat the Ibis Budapest Centrum Hotel for value. Its location on the fashionable Raday utca is also a plus and makes this hotel an ideal spot for a short holiday or weekend break. The hotel has a small meeting facility capable of hosting 10 people, and in the afternoon the breakfast room is available for sales presentations, courses and press conferences.
