Bratislava / Dining / French

Voted the top restaurant in Slovakia in 2004 by the Trend independent business weekly, the Devin Hotel’s French restaurant has for years set the bar higher than any other for formal European dining. Space and grace are the watchwords here, making this the restaurant of choice for impressing important business guests. Never stuffy, always elegant, the Devin French Restaurant is to the average Bratislava restaurant what Dom Perignon is to apple cider.

A casually elegant restaurant, the Ludwig is a favourite of those looking for quality without the flash. It’s set back from the street in a covered walkway in one of Bratislava’s oldest buildings. Non-smokers’ rights are rigorously defended, with the smoking section being located in a different part of the building. The gazpacho, mussels, tiger prawns, venison and lamb are particularly recommended.
