This restaurant’s ultra-modern, mini-malist setting offers some of the best Japanese food to be found in Athens. Apart from the excellent sushi and sashimi, it’s worth trying some dishes on the special menu set aside chiefly for Japanese customers. These include the thin, crispy dumplings and noodles with shrimp and udon.

This is sushi for the masses in a relaxed pop-style atmosphere, with a very good selection of ambient and ethnic music playing in the background. The concept was such a success that two new Sushi Bars have opened at G. Vlachou 38, N. Psyhiko (Tel: 210 672 9333) and Constantinoupoleos 15, Glyfada (Tel: 210 894 2200). The staff in all three are effi cient and competent, producing very satisfactory nigiri and maki sushi.
