Osaka / Nightlife / Club

Osaka’s most famous strip cabaret offers nightly shows, and the clientele includes the rich and the famous. Entrance fee is £30, but private shows are available at an extra cost. Juso Music Cabaret Club can be hard to find—it’s about six minutes east of Hankyu Juso station by foot. Or look for the bright blue minivan that’s parked off to the right at the end of the covered arcade that runs east from Juso station. It will take you to the club, and back, for free.

Karma is popular with students and arty types who gather for the drinks and the wide range of events, from fashion shows to club music, with Japanese and international DJs.

Anything goes indeed at Sam and Dave 4, the Umeda branch of the Sam and Dave chain of nightclubs and arguably the most popular international nightclub in the city. The drinks are cheap, the crowds are young, and you might spot visiting rock stars like Mick Jagger in the crowd.
