Osaka / Accommodation / Business

Located across the street from JR Osaka station, the Osaka Hilton has the advantage of being arguably the most convenient boutique hotel in the city. For business visitors there is a 24-hour business centre in the main lobby which provides secretarial, copy/fax and translation/interpretation services, and will even do things like print [name] cards (very important in Japan). Four executive floors feature separate check-in facilities, a dedicated concierge, a private lounge and complimentary meals and beverages

The Hyatt Regency sits near the Osaka waterfront, next to the Asian Trade Centre, World Trade Centre and the Osaka INTEX convention centre, and not too far away from Universal Studios Japan. It’s a long way from the centre of Osaka, but extremely convenient for getting to Kansai airport—only about 45 minutes way. For that reason, you’ll see a lot of pilots and flight attendants in the lobby. Eight restaurants, bars and lounges are available, and the Hyatt’s business centre offers a complete range of business services. In summer the poolside barbecues are a favourite with not only guests but also many locals. At night, the Manhattan Bar serves up what some say are the finest cocktails in the city.

Located beside the ultra-modern Umeda Sky Plaza Building, just a few minutes from JR Osaka station, the Osaka Westin is well-known among the locals for its excellent restaurants and bars. Six dining and drinking establishments are available at the Westin Osaka. The Stella Maria, which offers Mediterranean-style fare, is especially popular with visiting diplomats and celebrities. For visiting businesspeople, the Osaka Westin offers seven meeting rooms and a well-equipped business centre that should be able to handle most of your needs. If you tire of hotel dining, right beside the Westin is an underground mall with traditional Japanese restaurants.
