This leafy bungalow is where Mahatma Gandhi stayed when he visited Bombay. It exhibits original documents and photographs of Gandhi’s life and influence in the Indian freedom struggle, and has an interesting library.

Built in the grand Indo-Saracenic manner, this stands out due to its dome, modelled on the architecture of Imperial India. It houses priceless treasures—sculptures from Elephanta Island, Gujarat and Karnataka, terracotta figures from the Indus Valley, Gandharan Buddhas, miniature paintings, porcelain and weapons.
