Across the road from the Petronas Towers, the Ascott’s serviced apartments have the trappings of a luxury hotel coupled with the cosiness of home. The apartments are considerably more spacious than hotel rooms, with fully equipped kitchens and separate living/ dining areas. The homely spa provides a quiet refuge from the madness of the city. Targeted at business executives on short to medium-term assignments, it’s good value for money, even though the business facilities are basic with optional modems in the rooms and only four meeting and conference rooms. Service is good. The fancy Nine At Ascott restaurant serves contemporary French cuisine in a suitably elegant setting.
